USO HA is an appliance which offers dual technology in one storage model. There are hot swappable drives with RAID protection and the cache memory is 24GB which can be expanded to 48GB if required on per node basis. Redundant hot swappable power supply ensures that, the system never faces technical snags due to power failure.

Going to the storage capacity of USO HA the total raw storage capacity is up to 1344GB if SATA and SAS with 6G feature and 7200RPM are used. If SAS drive with 15K RPM is used then it has a 268.8TB raw capacity. In case if SSD is used then it supports 268.8 TB storage. The raid levels supported on this storage are 0,1,0+1,3,5,6,10,30,50,60.

Taking the form factor into account, this is a 5 unit 19 inch rack mountable platform which has operating temperature in between 10 ~ 35C (50F ~ 95F).

Now, let us go through the specifications of StoneFly USO- HA storage appliance in detail. This redundant IP storage appliance is backed up with a battery for its HW Raid. Stone Fusion operating system is a driving force of this storage as it has advanced features such as thin provisioning with space reclamation, advanced copy on write features and sync mirroring features. There is a volume based encryption feature in this appliance which offers data protection and offers access in a secure way. While software upgrades are made to this storage solution, there will be no downtime. Storage Tiering is supported by Stone Fusion operating system as it offers SAS or SATA or SSD level storage.

With a web based intuitive user interface, this storage appliance simplifies the management of the IT manager. The administrator can configure or monitor this appliance just through a smart phone or an iPAD. Moreover, now downtime is observed while volume and storage expansion takes place.

In case if this USO HA unit needs an expansion, it can be carried out with a StoneFly USO HA expansion unit. This unit has the same specifications to that of it are HA storage. It offers scalability to 448 disk drives per 2 node cluster. This unit is a 3 unit 19 inch rack mount system which is a non operating temperature in between

40 ~ 60C (73F ~ 149F).
