It would eliminate opening the double doors unnecessarily. Attaching a ramp simplifies vehicle removal. A window or two needs to be considered for ventilation. Vehicle fumes, gas powered appliances, paints and other flammable products need circulation of air. Electricity may be considered for heat, air conditioning, and power tool operations. Do you have a need to construct a potting shed or a custom greenhouse? The potting shed needs to be well ventilated because of fertilizers, soil, insects, and sprays. Soil and fertilizers are messy. Easy access plumbing would be handy. A work bench is necessary as well as a few shelves and hooks for the hand garden tools. A small greenhouse is excellent for growing seedlings before moving them to a flower bed or vegetable garden. Orchids and other foliage will require a larger building as these types of hobby plants will remain in the greenhhouse. The roof may be made of glass or plastic and flooring will probably be concrete. Special hooks for hanging baskets, shelving, ladders, side windows for ventilation, electricity for fans, and heat and air conditioning. Do not forget plumbing fixtures, and a workbench. Think back to when you were as child wishing you had a special room. Your talented woodworking craftsman hands can make it a reality. The sheds of today may be A-frame or barn style with or without a porch, barn shaped garage, pet barn, saltbox greenhouse, a playhouse, pool cabana, cottage, or a replica of your personal house. Other considerations can be cupolas, skylights, electrical lighting, motion detectors, alarm systems, and even partitioning your storage areas to separate different items.
