Story Telling In Home Or Class Make Your Child Perfect

Informational books are like encyclopedias for children

. For example, information books tell children what firefighters do, how spaceships are launched, how shoes are made and much more. Of course, many books are mixtures. A story book can be an information book or a thinking book at the same time. Before we start to read, we should allow the child to get settled. Let children take as much time as they need to get comfortable. Some need more time than others.

Contemporary approaches to moral development and moral education emphasize propositional thinking and verbal discussion of abstract moral dilemmas. Our life itself is a complete story that starts with birth and ends when our soul leaves our body. The complete story narrates one life that goes through various ups and downs in life. Over the period of time, every life story becomes a historical novel. Stories have long been used for teaching morals and developing character.

Although technological improvements have made videos, video games, and hand-held devices common delivery methods for teaching these skills, books are still a critical tool. Many medical research studies have shown that by regularly reading your child bedtime stories, it can actually enhance their speech and language development. By regularly reading bedtime stories to the children, helps them develop good listening skills. When you start reading the story, it will encourage your child to be quiet, and listen.

Regularly reading to children can help them develop healthy sleep patterns, calm them when crying, and overall provide them with a pattern, or routine. Telling stories has long been recognized as an important part of healing, self-knowledge and personal and spiritual vehicle for connecting us to other people and to God; it is a means of understanding ourselves and our place in the world. It is a particularly good way to teach children realistic thinking, as stories can show children how people realistically solve their problems.

Hold your children close to you while reading, and seat them either on your lap or by your side. This will make the story or poem even more special for them. Anytime is a good time to read, as long as the child is in a good mood and wants to hear a story. Children should not be forced to listen to a story if they do not want to. We can set aside at least one special story time each day, and let the children decide whether or not they want to use that time for reading.
