The teenage years, no doubt, are a very hard time in a person's life

. You find yourself caught between childhood and adulthood, you want more freedom and to be treated as an adult, at the same time as completely shunning all responsibility and doing as little as possible to contribute to day to day living.

Living with your teen can be a difficult time for you if not handled correctly, which is why anger control strategies are vital to learn and if they don't come naturally, you'll have to learn some techniques for the good of the whole family.

To avoid the common situation of getting angry with a teenager, when they are assigned a task, is to remember that it is common for them to exploit every loophole. What results did you achieve when shouting at your teenager?

Oftentimes when communicating with teenagers your conversation will end with their stomping out of the room and slamming the door. Managing a teenagers drastic anger issues is very complicated and will usually require extreme diligence if a more reasonable way of thinking is to be achieved.

Once you lay down a rule with your teen, allow no wiggle room. Give them a set time and date, such as Saturday afternoons, and firmly let them know they are not allowed to leave the house or see their friends until it is finished. Keep inspecting the room for the first couple of weekends and, once the routine has been established, then do it only now and again to keep them on their toes, if they think that they can bend you to their will they will and you know it.
