Strange Bugs and Phobia-Inspiring Weird Insects

The planet earth hides a few dreary, damp, and warm cavities in which weird bugs

and phobia-inspiring creatures lie in wait in threatening secretiveness. Some of these beings are harmless but others pose a serious threat to man's welfare. Read more to discover some of the weird bugs inhabiting the planet.

Pink Centipede

Centipedes can be very treacherous creatures, but the pink one stands out with its bad temper. Covered with plenty of spines, this deadly insect shoots cyanide from its oral cavity. The mature species reaches approximately 3 centimeters long. Because of its ability to produce cyanide, the pink centipede has the smell of almonds.

Giant Centipede

The giant centipede can become over thirty centimetres, which represents the length of a person's forearm! This animal is a really good climber and a fast runner. The centipede shows up at night, looking for little insects and animals of larger size. Groping through the darkness, the flesh-eating centipede feeds on frogs, lizards, mice, geckos, different centipedes, birds, and even bats, praying on these creatures in mid-flight. This centipede is also known for hunting for tarantulas. The insect has modified claws through which it injects an extremely potent poison into its victim. The bug is not predatory, but it can bite if handled or if it unintentionally crawls on you. In humans, the toxin causes severe fever, chills, swells, and weakness. Luckily, though bites are quite painful, they are not fatal.

Borneo Walking Stick

The Borneo walking stick reaches up to 32.8 cm(12.9 '') in length, with another 14 centimetres (8.6 inches) if you add the legs. In reality, this creature makes for the second longest bug, after the Chan's megastick. Even if you are in Borneo, you may miss spotting one because these insects resemble lean tree branches.

Giant African Snail

The Giant African Snail is actually the largest land snail on earth. In our age, it is also raised much like a pet but in some countries around the world, growing one is outlawed, including in the USA. These creatures are easy to take care of. Snails generate both, eggs and sperm, but 2 snails are still needed to produce offspring. The reproductive rate of this insect is very high they lay about 1200 eggs a year. Oh .. and these bugs love to drink beer (yeast facilitates their growth).
