Strategic Mining Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SMNG) Hits Pay Dirt

Strategic Mining Corporation announced recently that it had finalized the purchase of a Boart Longyear LF 70 diamond core angular drill

. The acquisition of the drill follows an earlier announcement that the land survey of the Nat Son property had the approval of the Vietnamese government.

The company had earlier released that it had commissioned three separate assay reports along with a NI 43 -101 reports that has since confirmed the Nat Son property was indeed a "Property of Merit"

Following the discovery, Strategic signed an agreement with Ba Dinh Minerals JSC, a North Vietnamese mining company to evaluate and report on known high grade gold deposits in their Nat Son property.

As part of the agreement, Strategic will acquire 105 hectares of property near Long Son, Vietnam. Strategic will have rights to 50% of the mineral rights and access in that property and an option of acquiring 25% more in the near future.

Other factors influencing the bullish case for that Strategic will likely hit some serious pay dirt with their Nat Son project:

The survey of the property has the approval of the Vietnamese government, making it easier for the company to import and export minerals and purchase machinery with little troubles, an obvious time and money saver in the long-run.

By acquiring a state of the art diamond core angular rig, the company has made a firm and positive statement on the feasibility of this project. A massive purchase of sophisticated equipment not only demonstrates confidence by the Strategic team behind the project, but the company is set to be the first ones to drill in this area. All are indications that the chances of striking gold could be extremely high.

Strategic has also built a road leading to the property and is in the process of building housing for the workers of the project. Again, the full commitment of the company behind the drilling is obvious.
