Stream Direct Scam Or Scam-free? Web Tv Software For Your Computer
Mostly everyone has heard of an Internet scam at one time or another
. I like to think that consumers are much smarter today than they were in the past when buying over the Internet. Simply put, Satellite TV for PC software has received its share of the good, the bad and the ugly which brings us to the point that some people are claiming theres a Stream Direct Scam.
This Web TV software is one of the popular ones out there today and receives thousands of worldwide searches each month. The problem isnt so much the software but the people that write over-hyped sales pages and product reviews online, and for whatever reason fail to highlight the shortcomings.
In addition, misleading content tend to make you think everything is too good to be true - especially when hearing about HD quality channels with crystal-clear pictures, 4,500+ channels to watch movies, sports, TV shows/episodes, and how well the software works with your computer.
Truth be told, unless you have a HDTV computer screen, top of the line multimedia and video software and over 1MB/s Internet connection speed, at best youll receive good to very good picture quality along with some occasional picture blurriness and choppy video.
But does that constitute a Stream Direct Scam? Well, fact is all Satellite TV for PC services/products (free or paid) have their shortcomings - not to mention that a channels picture quality is only as good as the source where it comes from.
Its the people that do the misleading when focusing primarily on the pros (benefits) without giving the cons. Many reviews tend to focus on selling rather than providing unbiased information, facts, and details. That can lead to more disgruntled buyers who expect exactly whats promised.
So is Stream Direct a Scam? If you dont have high expectations on receiving HD quality streaming channels and paid TV channels to watch on your computer, perhaps using the software can be beneficial.
The real purpose of the software is to help make a super computer Internet TV system quick and easy, keep everything in one place as much as possible, without putting in the time and effort searching for channels online, then storing them on your computer to view later.
Instead, all the work is completed and for a small one-time fee you get a complete package with a lifetime membership consisting of free on-going tech support, software upgrades, and channel updates.
One way to avoid scams and all the duds out there is sticking with the top leading brands. However, enough cant be said of the shortcomings that are common to all of these products. Perhaps as technology improves and your patience or low tolerance improves, you may want to give StreamDirect a try.
But dont expect all channels (all 4,500 or so) to be favorable or the picture/video quality to be as good as your HDTV sitting at home. After trying these products out for myself, the quality and overall performance wasnt really that bad.
Theres no argument that surfing the Web in search of your own free channels and Web TV sites which doesnt require fees is better, but the software makes the entire process of watching television online via a desktop or laptop seem easier and quicker.
If you are someone only interested in watching one or two favorite TV shows, then this wouldnt be the path to take.
However, if you are someone with a varied TV interest or someone whos bilingual, multilingual, or studying a new language, then downloading software that gives you instant access to 78-100+ worldwide channels might be what win you over.
Although I cant speak for everyone, I think the streamlining, organization, and delivery of worldwide channels instantly to my computer makes life easier. My time is limited anyways - so I dont have time to put in the initial effort to find my own channels and Web TV sites.
Nevertheless, issues do exist and some are valid. Some people will find many of the thousands of channels unappealing to watch. Still, you can find your own channels online and use a feature enhancement that allows you to add them to the TV player - I thought this was pretty handy and allowed me to personalize my TV player.
In addition, the add to favorites feature made selecting my favorite channels and programs for future viewing that much easier.
Although the shortcomings are oblivious such as some channels coming and going (broken channel links and down times) another feature enhancement gives you the ability to update channels which was helpful. Actually, its the first thing you should do right after installing the software (TV player) on your computer.
Some scam reports have mentioned that most or all channels didnt play, TV player didnt download or install or some other issue. Although a Satellite TV for PC service will tell you their software is compatible to your operating system, it doesnt necessarily mean it will work - due to rare circumstances that may exist with your computer.
The only issue I experienced was my computers firewall blocking the software from installing. Once I gave it permission to except the software, I could play and watch channels on my TV player.
Since I dont have a HD computer screen and I have at least the minimum of 1MB connection speed, I can live without HD quality channels for the most part. Putting that aside, the quality really isnt that bad for the most part- its just a matter of your tolerance.
The Stream Direct Scam is based on the minority and when researching this further, I found that not only did some users complain about the quality and performance being subpar, but some of them went as far as to say the service wouldnt refund their money back.
One of the things I look for before making a purchase is the money back guarantee. When it comes to these types of products its best to stick with the top Satellite TV for PC services who use Clickbank, Plimus, or PayPal as their sales/refunds processor.
When doing so theres no reason why anyone shouldnt receive a full refund when making a request to one of the processors s/he made a payment to.
Yet, some people obviously are not reading their emails that are sent to their inboxes right after making a payment. It provides instructions to look up your order and if need be request a refund (Dont request a refund from StreamDirect but from Clickbank instead).
To avoid running into any of the above issues and spending money, I suggest first download a freeware or free trial software to test TV player channels, picture/video quality and overall performance on your computer.
Since StreamDirect doesnt offer a free trial, you can test your computer with a similar software to see how well it works. If you decide to do this, then you are helping yourself by eliminating possible issues that might appear to be a Stream Direct scam when purchasing it.
