Stress Relief With A Custom Parking Permit Holder

Being a school teacher or faculty member can be hectic at times

. The morning meetings keep coming, as well as the afternoon and even evening meetings and events that need to be attended. Everything seems to add up, and to top everything off, nearly every school requires that their faculty and staff use an issued school parking permit. This on its own is not much of an issue, but it does add yet another thing that you need to keep track of, and just another thing that can be lost or damaged.

I spent a good deal of time working in the school district, and I can tell you that the permits they issued seemed more like an annoyance than anything else. Not a semester would go by without it being lost or misplaced, damaged or just completely snapped. We used the hanging placards for a few years before the school board decided to switch over to permit decals. I was not too fond of this switch, since I did not like the idea of sticking something to my car or its windows. I do not even like the company emblems that, for some reason, must be on every car ever made.

The parking decal did offer a bit of an escape, though. After forcing myself to make the switch, I did not have to worry about losing my permit or needing to go through the lengthy and tedious process that is getting a replacement issued. I used the parking decal for about two months before I found out about something that would forever banish my frustrations revolving around permits: a custom parking permit holder.

It was a cousin of mine that let me know about this wonderful invention in the form of a birthday gift. It was one of the simplest devices I have seen, and it made me think, "Why didn't I think of this before?!" As soon as I realized it could be used to display that parking decal I was issued a few months prior, I pealed it off my window and stuck it right into the parking permit holder. For the next two years, I never had to worry about losing or damaging my permit again. The peace of mind was wonderful.
