Stucco Is A Recognized Certified Trade In Ontario: Get Licensed With Iupat

, Ontario Council is a partner of the Interior Finishing Systems Training Centre, that is a training delivery agency offering training supported by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities [MTCU] for skilled trades such as Exterior Insulated Finishing Systems [EIFS], otherwise named "stucco." The Ontario MTCU recognizes EIFS as a certified trade, and is currently the only location in North America to recognize this specialized skill as a certified trade. IUPAT Ontario offers comprehensive training, safety certification, and post course completion with placement among the unionized employers. The IUPAT collective bargaining agreement provides a minimum hourly wage of $15.60/hr for the first 1200 hours plus an additional 10% vacation pay on gross earnings. Once a worker has completed 3601 hours on the job, all benefits including pension are paid by your employer.
