1.First of all, you should remember that living in a student enclave is characterized by the possibility of choice, so, do not waste that opportunity and make the right choice. If you want to study try to find out what neighbors you will have, if any.

2.Before you make your decision, think over whether you can afford it. If you feel that you can have some financial difficulties, try to find another place.

3.Do not violate any terms. All payments should be made on payday. Make it your first rule. It will save your good mood and will save you from tears and frustrations which can be caused by your apartment owner.

4.Find out whether there are some specific requirements and rules. If the owner has some requirements, write them down and put in some place you could always see. Do not violate those rules or you will have to look for a new apartment.

5.Do not make too much noise. Do not make too many parties.

6.Respect your neighbors. You can even try to make friends with some of your neighbors. It can be very helpful.

7.Even if it is not required, you should keep in order not only your room, but, maybe, the garden of your owner. Of course, you should not become a slave at your owners garden, but it is not very difficult to offer some help. An hour working in the garden can be a good rest for your brains and additional positive point in your relationship with your apartment owner.
