It is said that business is before pleasure. At the same time lacking leisure and personal interests an individual becomes dull and is not developing. One sides of life should buffer the pressure of others. It is important for a person to be all-rounded and use all possibilities for the personal development. It may be difficult for the students to choose between extracurricular activities, participating in clubs and their study. It is very important to set the priorities and have the appropriate time management.

First of all, it is necessary to remember the primer reason for staying at college. The students are to gain knowledge and receive professional skills. It is very important to become a good specialist in the chosen field in order not to eat ones heart out in the future. College provides a plenty of opportunities for professional growth, it is not reasonable not to use them. Studying by fits and starts and wasting ones time is senseless. Life is too short to lose the opportunities, isnt it?

Extracurricular activities

On the other hand, extracurricular activities may be useful as well. Participating in the debate clubs, drama clubs the students may deepen their knowledge received at class. Going in for sports is also important and useful for health. A proverb says that there is a sound mind in a sound body. But some sportsmen are too busy with their sport competitions, which prevent them from attending classes and/or doing their homework. It is great only if one is going to continue his/her career path in professional sport.

Students campus provides plenty of possibilities for interesting and useful time destination. Unfortunately the day and the night include only twenty four hours, which are not enough to participate in everything. Choosing extracurricular activities, the student should make sure that

there is enough time left to sleep and to eat;

the activities do not interfere the study.
