You are likely to hear a lot of university towns

, especially those located in Europe. However, do you really understand what they are? Would you like to study in some of these university towns? 5.Many students live not only on campuses, but rent apartments in the town.

6.The traffic in these towns is not busy. In fact, student towns are pedestrian oriented, so to say. There are many parks, many bicycle paths, and few cars.

7.As a rule, the number of entertaining places like restaurants, nightclubs, etc. is quite small. Of course, you can hardly find a casino in such towns.

8.Nevertheless, the streets of such towns can be very crowded and there can be numerous fests.

9.Student towns can be also characterized by cultural diversity: you can find some restaurants of various traditional cuisines, some shops with specific goods, etc.

10.Well, in fact, even the air in such towns is a bit different. Student towns are very energetic and when you visit one, you inevitable want to come back.

Thus, now you know peculiarities of a student town and it is up to you to decide whether you want to become a citizen of such place for several years, or maybe, for the rest of your life.
