Student Visa and Immigration Requirements
Any international student willing to pursue a full-time course from a registered Singapore University has to apply for a student pass. Student pass holders are sternly not allowed to be involved in any kind of employment, whether it is paid or unpaid. They can involve themselves in a paid or unpaid occupation only when they have the consent of the Director of Immigration in writing. Violation of this law is a punishable offence.
So, if you are looking for an employment opportunity after your graduation, make sure your student pass does not expire. In that case, you may have to apply for a social visit pass at the Singapore Immigration and Registration Office nearly two weeks before the termination of your student pass.
