So are CDs the best way to study Spanish in the advanced modern world in which we live in or are there better ways to learn the Spanish language?
Well in my case cassettes worked for me which would be the same as CDs today because CDs have the advantage of being able to use advanced accelerated learning techniques that you just don't get from the written word. In my particular case I learnt all about right brain and left brain and just a simple thing of playing music whilst speaking Spanish opens up left side of the brain as well as the right side of the brain and almost sub consciously the language in planted into your brain. Well it stays there in my experience anyway.
Obviously the advent of CDs happened well before the recent advances of the internet and the speed internet connections we have today. Online Spanish lessons say some 5 years ago weren't necessarily available to the masses because of bandwidth and internet speed issues but now that is not a problem and watching high quality videos on the internet is quite possible. So today when we talk about learn Spanish CDs were also talking about the internet with online classes and downloads all achieving the same results in being able to give you a superior product to learn the Spanish language.
