We all have seen all kind of stunts in the movies, but you have to know that there are people that do this at home too. What is motorcycle stunt riding? Well, most of the times is also referred as stuntriding too and it involves acrobatic maneuvering of the motorcycle and some times of the rider. Here is a list of some common stunts: wheelies, bar tricks, stoppie and acrobatics.

There are many variations of wheelies but the basic definition of this stunt is the lifting of the front of the motorcycle off the ground by means of either power or use of clutching. The "circle" is represented by the traveling within a circle. Maybe it doesn't sound that difficult, but trust me it is.The "12 o'clock" is a very high wheelie, past the normal balance point of the motorcycle.

The most known bar tricks are ape hanger that consists in hanging from the bars with one's hands while doing a 12 o'clock, scarping the bike's 12 o'clock bar and allowing the rider feet to drag behind the bike. Cliff Hanger is hanging with one's feet while doing the 12 o'clock.

Stoppie refers to the lifting of the rear wheel of the motorcycle using momentum and braking force.

The burnouts use the power of the engine and braking force to cause the rear wheel to spin, heating the rear tire and producing smoke.

When you look at it, seems to be something that only the crazy poeple wiil do, but no, this is a passion like any other. You should also note, that this passion has no limits, all you need is a motorcycle well equiped and lots of courage. A little piece of advice is that you shouldn't try this unless you are well protected and well equiped, and also you should try small. Don't try the hard tricks from the beginning, you should do it step by step so you won't endager yourself.
