Baroque

The Baroque style was prevalent during the period of Louis XIV. Since this style is all about power and strength, it is used in rooms where furniture is the strong and dominant feature. Not many people can use this style because the rooms have to be fairly large if your want to use Baroque furniture. If you use Baroque style furniture in small rooms, it will take up all the available space in the room and you will have little space to keep other items.

Rococo

When people think of French Furniture, the first style that comes to their mind is the furniture that was during Rococo period which flourished in the reign of Louis XV. Some of the unique features of this style include frivolous decorations, fancy artwork and asymmetrical creativity. One of the noticeable features of Rococo style is that even though they are full of ornate and fancy designs, there edges are not seen.

Neo-Classical

If you want to give a perfect look to your home, you can achieve your goal by buying the right French furniture for your home. If you are not happy with the look of Rococo and Baroque style, you can check out Neo-Classical style. This style is influenced by Roman and Greek architectural styles and has a more symmetrical and formal look. Since Neo-Classical style has a unique look, it must not be combined with Rococo or Baroque.

Contemporary French Furniture

Today there are several contemporary designs and styles of French furniture that you can use in your home. Some of the unique features of contemporary French furniture include the use bold colours, liner patterns on the fabric and use of black and white for contrast. Modern French furniture is elegant and stylish and can be used in homes that have limited space.
