E-bay was founded in San Jose, California in 1995. Sincethat time,it has become synonymous with buying and selling around the world.

The success of E-bay will continue to grow fora long time to come.

E-bay had an annual revenue of 9.1 billion dollars in 2010 and will continue to show profits for a long time to come.

One of the favorite slogans of the company is "come to think of it e-bay." That is what got me started with selling my personal items on e-bay. There were many things i had which i wanted to get rid of but i hated the idea of just throwing them out in the trash after asking my friends if they wanted my stuff. It turns out e-bay is the perfect way to sell your things and make a profit at the same time. It gives you great satisfaction after you make a sale to know that someone else will enjoy your items and you are the richer for it in terms of money.

I found that there is always a market out there for even the most unlikely of products. There is the famous story of one of the first items sold on e-bay. It was a broken laser printer for 14 dollars. When E-bay asked the buyer, do you know it is broken? the buyer answered in his e-mail "I'm a collector of broken laser printers."

That sort of sums up the advantage of using e-bay. There are products that are obviously in demand by people and there are products which are unusual but are still desired by some and occasionally you hear of the reallystrange sales like a potato chip that sold for a very high amount of money. The fact is that E-bay has something for everyone.

E-bay encompasses all the buying needs of nearly everyone worldwide.That is why i would really like to open my e-bay store very soon.I know i would do very well having an online business.

The advantages of having an online business as opposed to an offline business are obvious.

First- You do not have to have a physical store in the street which means you do not have to pay rent of any kind.

Second- You do not need to pay any employees, the only employees you have are you and your computer.

Third- You can make your own hours online. You can make a schedule that fits your hours and needs and lifestyle.

If you have an online store, a good way of getting started is by having a really inexpensive inventory of products to sell. Go to garage sales near you or flea markets or dollar stores and buy popular items, then sell them for a substantial profit on your store. You get the idea- the same as stocks, buy low sell high. You can use this idea to really make a full-time income eventually from selling on e-bay.

There are people who have really made a life changing success on E-bay. People who have become millionaires, making fortunes buying and selling .As you have probably heard over and over -all you need is the determination to succeed. Maybe you and I can be one of them.
