I am writing you today because of an interesting e-mail I received from an MLM "On Line" Guru! that I wish to share with you
. I am an International Franchise Consultant that also utilizes the Internet to Market my business and help others in understanding "Marketing" and how it applies to their business.
The e-mail I received from this on-line MLM Guru went something like this:
Polar Bear Joe! "" Why would someone invest all that money in a "Franchise Concept" when, they can do (Her Primary MLM Opportunity) from home and prosper? It went on immediately to advise me of all the benefits she offered in her MLM opportunity and attempted to "Sell" me on joining her on her road to riches!
I politely answered her question in this manner. Dear MLM Guru "" On line businesses has a statistical history (Fact) that 97% fail (approx.)! PERIOD! (Don"t give me the lies of "" well, they didn"t follow our system or It"s a numbers game "" or they were not committed "" CRAP) "" This is the Reality! Here is another statistical fact! 97% of Franchise opportunities Succeed! (approx.) "" Why?
Because with a Franchise you are buying a proven "" step by step "" system that works!(proof - Audited Franchise Financial Statements in the FDD!) How many on-line MLM opportunities provide "Audited" financial statements of success from every person who ever joins their MLM opportunity?
McDonalds doesn"t make the best Burgers! They just have a system that works on selling them, better than most others! Period! Successful on-line enterprises realize this as well, so don"t think I"m knocking MLM"s or other businesses "" However with a legitimate franchise you have a lot better chance of success by following their PROVEN system then other opportunities. So if you take the chance on an on-line business, it can work if you work hard and are dedicated as well as being aligned to the correct technology tools and methodology but your risk of failure is much higher. Lower the risk "" pay more Money! Increase your risk "" Pay less money! Starting a business (like a Click & Mortar for example) on your own falls in the middle at about a 30% chance of success! (FYI)
