In Unani system of medicine, regarding temperament, there are some important principles by which we can predict or aware about the health of a person. For examples;

If a person gets Mizaje Asli (congenital temperament) as Har Yabis, he will pass his whole life like an adult person.

If a person has such Mizaje Asli (furnished to him from mother) which has been deviated towards coldness (buroodat) or moistness, he will pass his life like an old person.

When a person having a specific Mizaje Asli, reaches the age that temperament is the same as that of the person, he will be disturbed and may fall ill. For example, a person having Mizaje Asli as hot dry, he will get

difficulty when he reaches adult -hood because of the same Mizaj of both, age and Mizaje Asli.

If a person having a Mizaje Asli as Barid Ratab, when he reaches adult hood, his temperament will be equable (Mo'tadil) because of Hot-dry temperament of adult hood and person will feel better and healthy.

If a person having hot moist temperament he will pass his life in better way when he reaches in middle age (Sinne Kahoolat ) because of cold dry temperament of this age. In this age Mizaj of the person will be equable due to opposite temperament of age and asli.

If a person having a Mizaje Har and adopts hot Tadabeeer like hot diets, occupation, residence and season, he will get trouble surely and may involve in hot diseases.Similarly, we can predict about the condition (health and disease) of the person having different types of Mizaj like, cold moist, or dry temperament or their combination.

The persons of Mo'tadil Mizaj are more susceptible to Khilti diseases.

The persons with Har Mizaj are to develop fever frequently.
