You could start off with the Denver Blues and Bones Festival on the Memorial Day. This even is an exclusive assortment of the best tunes of blues, which is served with the sumptuous aroma of grilled barbecues that will surely take your appetite. Also, if you have a knack in grilling, you could enter the yearly barbecue competition and aim to be the champion griller. Here, everyone can have a free taste of all barbecue entries for the competition.

The annual Capitol Hill People's Fair in early June is open for both residents and tourists alike. It is held in Civic Center Park and is a huge event in the neighborhood that features live performances on five stages.
