Summer Fashion Accessories

Summer is just around the corner and that means you should be preparing the cute

sandal wedges and flip flops, celebrity sized sunglasses, and floppy hats. While your outfits may be slimmed down due to the hot weather, there's not reason you can add on a few "layers" of hot fashion accessories to complete the outfit.

Let's start out simple. Sunglasses. Not only is this just a fashion staple of the summer, sunglasses do more than just look good on your face. They protect your eyes from that horrible sun glare that is sure to put a damper on your beach days. Men and women need to consider the shape of their face before choosing a style. Guys will always look great in a pair of aviators or rectangular frames. Both genders need to really ponder if they can pull off a pair half the size of their face. Part of it really does have to do with the shape of your face, the rest is all about confidence. As long as you feel confident, you'll look fabulous. And while there's nothing wrong with owning a few cheap pairs, do invest in at least one designer pair. It'll offer better protection and of course more style.

This summer women will be switching out the little black dress for a white one. So what fashion accessories can you pair with it? Start with stacked bangle bracelets. Actually, bangles will look great with many of your fun summer dresses. Brighten up the outfit with colors that pop. On chilly nights, don a black leather jacket. If it's too hot for leather, opt for a structured blazer instead. Choose silver and gold accessories if brightly colored accessories seem too much. Gold and silver will stand out nicely against the white.

If you haven't learned already, scarves are not just a winter staple. Fashion scarves have been huge the past few years and they show no signs of stopping. Choose light fabrics and wearing them loosely around your neck. They pair nicely with dresses and tops. And if it gets too hot out to wear them, use them to pull back your locks to keep you cool.

Another way to block out the sun is with the traditional floppy hat. They're great at the beach or at Sunday brunch with friends and family. They'll cool you off while heating up your outfit. Pair with chandelier earrings and you'll be set.

With the right designer fashions, you'll be cool and confident this summer.
