* Bathe with an exfoliating soap before applying the tanning products
. This will ensure an even tone.
* Apply the sunless tanning lotion on dry skin.
* Always apply a thin film and massage with gentle circular strokes till it is fully absorbed.
* If you want to apply some on your face, use a product which is specifically formulated for this purpose. A body tanner might not suit your face.
* Do not put on clothing before the product dries up completely. Your clothes might get stained. Being in front of the fan will help in drying the lotion quickly.
