. People tend to respond in a very positive and cooperative manner while surrounded by the similar sex. They very much feel connected and co relate with each others problem, giving a very reciprocal response. After 23 years of experience in tackling the addiction, we have realized that there is a strong connection in being surrounded by the same sex people and getting treatment for addiction. Thus we have set up a facility just for men, who are struggling to overcome their addiction. We provide our male clients with a highly structured and supportive program in a closed environment located in the beautiful California foothills. The goal of Sunrise Recovery is to give the chemically dependent or alcoholic man the best possible chance at achieving long-term recovery by creating a solid foundation in sobriety. This is the mens only rehab in California.

At Sunrise Recovery in Southern California, our expert addictions treatment clinicians have created a highly structured, supervised, and supportive environment in a spiritually inspiring location in Riverside, which is believed to have a long term and positive effect on our clients. The men participating in addiction treatment program find themselves in a peaceful and friendly vacation-like environment while they receive a state-of-the-art treatment for every kind of addiction on a consistent basis. We also involve their families into the treatment program as they play a vital role post treatment. Receiving addiction treatment in a men's only program provides the recovering alcoholic or addict the benefit of working together and forging caring bonds of support and accountability with other recovering men. The men can focus on their sobriety for 30, 60, or 90 days and build an excellent foundation that will help them overcome the urge to relapse when they graduate to less supervised care in our extended care, transitional work, or outpatient programs.

There is gender specific difference in perceiving the addiction. It is different in men and women; this is also one of the core reasons, why this drug rehab for men is established. There are separate issues which lead men and women into the addiction. At sunrise recovery we have all men staff. In this way they can concentrate on their recovery process, rather than the social approval of their changed behavioral patterns.
