Sandals for women dont have to be stereotyped with the typical casual look for beach holidays, you can buy a nice pair of glamorous strappy heeled sandals for women and they are the perfect accessory for showing off a touch of extra flesh with a bold evening dress or skirt. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Kate Moss and Kylie Minogue have all been pictured by the paparazzi modelling both types of sandals with their outfits, flat and high heeled.

One of the more popular flat sandals taking over the high-street and fashion-icons feet are the gladiator styled shoes, which involve a lot of straps in a variation of leather colours from brown to black, or some even have bolder colours such as green, blue and pink. These womens sandals look oh-so-stylish with a maxi skirt or dress, leggings and an over-size tee, or even jeans of all shapes.

Other variations of sandals for women that have hit the cat walk this season are kitten-heeled sandals. Originally fashionistas snubbed the idea of kitten-heeled sandals and opted for the larger heel but, now famous brands have designed some for their catwalk shows, they are all the rage and the fashionistas have swallowed their words and bought themselves a pair. These are great for a more dolled up event which will involve you wearing a beautiful dress or special outfit. The good thing about this variation of sandal is they arent too high to walk in, they look divine and most of all they are comfortable!
