Not only are they becoming more effective they also contain less side effects and are usually just there to prevent a law suite. There are three simple categories of supplements: Fat loss supplements, muscle building supplements, and detoxifying and cleansing supplements.

Fat loss supplements are very simple they increase your metabolism and allow you to burn more calories. The majority of these fat loss supplements are thermogens which ramp up your metabolism and raise the thermostat of your body. In other words you are going to be sweating and producing lots of heat due to this increase in metabolism. All of that heat requires a lot of energy to produce and you lose weight.

Muscle building supplements come in so many different varieties that it would be too extensive to go into. However, the three main categories are; Pre-workout supplements, proteins, and vitamins and minerals. All of these components are essential if you want to make the greatest gains no matter how you workout. Pre-workout supplements allow you to be able to push your body to limits that are unachievable without. They give your body the extra power to really get that deep burn and tear more muscle fibers than ever. And you heard me right it is a good thing to tear muscle fibers.

The more fibers you tear the bigger your muscle will be once it is repaired. It is an ever ongoing cycle that everyone goes through some more than others. Proteins come in many different varieties more commonly whey or caseine which are quick absorption and slow absorption respectively. Both are very important for putting on muscle. The third category which are vitamins and minerals could possibly be the most overlooked aspect for building muscle. They are essential in enzyme function and body repair. If you do not have the proper levels of vitamins and minerals it will take you longer to recover and you will not be able to get good workouts day after day.


Detoxifying and cleaning the body is an ever growing area of supplements. More and more people want to feel clean, light, and healthy and not just look it. There are so many natural supplements that reduce the amount of free radicals in the body as well as remove toxins. This will allow your body to function more efficiently and you will feel better.
