Surfing is so much fun, but not as fun unless youre totally equipped. While some people opt to surf in nearby beaches, others unfortunately have to find far away beaches just to catch waves with ample height suited for surfing. The good thing about it is, it gives people a reason to go on surf vacations. And nothing can be more exciting than that. Other than seeing a new beach or being able to stay in a nice resort, you get surf lessons from experts and you get to try new and gigantic waves. But of course, you would have to be prepared with the perfect surf wear, and important surf accessories. Here are the accessories youll most need when going on a surf vacation:

Travel bags These are the surf accessories you cant leave home without. Travel bags will carry you surf wear, surfing gear and what not. Make sure these bags will contain fast dry towels, toiletries and a lot of sun screen. There are great travel bags for surfers. Theyre waterproof and they have compartments that may contain important surf gear such as detachable fins, surfboard repair kits and what not.

Surfboard bags If youre carrying your own surfboard it is best not to carry it around like a skate board. Surfboard bags provide the room and protection that surfboards need. These bags will assure you that your boards will be dirt and ding free. They have handles so theyre easy to carry and there are those which are slightly cushioned on the sides to prevent your surfboard from getting scratches.

Wet suit change mat A wetsuit is the primary surf wear among surfers especially if they want an abrasion free and buoyant surfing experience. But when wet suits get sand, its not really a good thing. Sand sticks on the suit and wont come of unless brought to laundry. Thats why there are wet suit change mats. These surf accessories allow you to change and remove your suit anywhere without getting sand or grime on it. The change mats are foldable and they come in portable wetsuit change bags.

Stand up paddle If you think surfing is a paddle-less sport youre wrong. There is what we call as stand up paddle surfing and you need a stand up paddle for it. It improves efficiency and durability of the surfboard blade. It also improves stability during power phase. Stand up paddles are usually made of smooth carbon fiber shaft and are best used when there are really big waves.
