Survive The Financial Meltdown Using Social Networking

What's the point of using Facebook, MySpace, Tagged or other Social Networking sites just to have fun or waste time

? Naturally a person can still play a bit, yet what about using most of the time perusing the Social sites for new business associates for finding home business seekers.

If you don't have a home business, then go find one. I'd recommend you do it fast. There's no time to waste waiting for the economy to "come back." When you listen to the talking heads on television or radio tell you it's on the way up again, do not allow yourself to get sucked in to their rhetoric.

Housing prices are still going down, jobs are still being lost and there is certainly no job security. Most Americans have been told that a good financial plan includes six months of savings that could cover your salary should you lose your job. How many people including yourself have even ONE month to cover your expenses if the worst happens? The answer is probably NONE.

In nearly every state more people are becoming unemployed and those who have a job are probably underemployed, meaning they're working a job for less than they used to earn and don't forget the big tax hikes coming up just over the horizon.

It's time to take massive action! Get online or talk to someone you know who has a home business, find one that attracts you and get busy. Getting a good Social Networking System is more than valuable. What's a home business worth if you can't get anyone to join your Team?

The average person gets a marketing system that usually means buying leads and putting them in an autoresponder, or online mailing system. Most of the leads out there are virtually worthless, yet people are putting hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars into purchasing them to try and get people interested in their businesses.

Not only are the leads expensive and almost useless, but the person buying the leads MUST get on the phone and call them if they even get a phone number with the leads. Nearly everyone hates picking up the phone and calling strangers. It's something about rejection and a phone being hung up by someone that keeps most folks from picking up that hundred pound phone in the first place.

Social Networking is another animal altogether. When someone discovers how easy it is to go online to Facebook or another Social site and simply by saying "hello" to someone and waiting for them to reply is so much more comfortable.

If you're being trained by an expert in the craft it's easier to allow them to come back and ask more questions. Then the person making the first contact can lead them down the right path and discover if they are quality, qualified and truly interested in a home business or if they just want to waste time and play. At that moment the contact can still be a friend but not a business associate. No harm, no foul.

The answer to all financial ills comes with making more money. Get out there and begin the quest to building a strong financial future.
