We checked it out after dark. Heading through the front doors you enter a dream world spandex zentai with sheets of sheer-white fabric suspended from vaulted ceilings and blowing in the warm ocean breeze. We sipped drinks under the stars and although hoping for a glimpse of J-Lo, a Miami local, the closest we came to celebrity that evening was some guy who claimed to be the King of Spain.

When not lounging, swimming or sipping cocktails, there are two other priority items on many girls' South Beach agenda: shopping and eating.

On our second night, we head to Lincoln Road, a wide boulevard closed to cars that offers a great mix of boutiques and restaurants within a 10-minute walk of many of the strip's hotels. We choose Pacific Time and enjoy fantastic seafood with a costume zentai Far East flair. With lots of wine, and an outdoor table in a warm breeze, it is the perfect "girls" evening -- almost.
