Khemka who ventured as an entrepreneur at an age when most of his counterparts would have been thinking of career options, if not following a normal educational routine. Founding Synapse India, (erstwhile Synapse Communications Pvt. Ltd.) in the beginning of this millennium, was just another feather in his cap already studded with gemstones of two successful entrepreneurial ventures namely Sampatti.com and Pharos Infotech.

In 1994, Shamit Khemka launched Pharos Infotech the first BBS ever initiated in India with email services prior to the advent of VSNL internet services. Within a span of four years, he came up with another venture; this time with an altogether unique concept for Indian real estate market in the disguise of Sampatti.com. Launched in 1998, Sampatti bequeathed the Indian realty market with an interactive real-estate online directory thereby bringing the realty industry under one umbrella.

Set up in 2000, SynapseIndia constituted of a handful of dedicated employees. However, it did not take longer for Synapse to reach the pinnacle of success in outsourcing domain. Today, Synapse has more than 250 employees serving result-oriented solutions to organizations spread across the globe. The company enjoys the much sought after reputation of being one of the premier outsourcing destinations in India.
