Synthetic "versus" Human Hair Extensions

The use of synthetic hair extensions and human hair extensions is something that's popular with lots of women all over the world. However there is debate over which type of hair is better...synthetic or human?

Well, I have gathered together some evidence and I'm about to represent my argument as to why HUMAN hair is better than synthetic hair.

I purchased both human and synthetic hair clip in extensions from www.buyhair.co.uk and decided to do a test. Upon opening both sets, the human hair felt much better than the synthetic hair. I then tested them in my hair - they both looked just as good as each other. I will also mention the human set was 90 pounds and the synthetic set was 40 pounds.

The Ultimate Test: My ultimate test was to hit the town on Friday night with the synthetic hair set in then Saturday night with the human hair set in. The test results will go of which night I received the most compliments on my hair, which was most photogenic, which was easier to maintain during the night, which looked best at the end of the night, which held the style I put them in stronger, and my general opinion on them.

Friday night was synthetic night which started bad - I could not style the hair in any way as it would melt! So I had to wear my hair straight. Not a great start if you're looking to have an exciting head turning hairdo. Upon arrival I had a few photographs - when looking at the photos my hair looked like Barbie hair, almost like the flash had bounced of the hair it made them look very fake and shiny disappointing. However the hair had kept in good condition all night and didn't look knotted. I didn't receive any compliments about my hair that night. My overall opinion on synthetic hair is they are great if you are on a budget but not so great if you like to style your hair in exciting ways. I give them a 4/10

Saturday night was human hair night I had my hair in glamorous bouncy curls and they looked amazing...great start! I looked at the photographs taken and my hair didn't look fake, it looked 100% natural. By the end of the night the curls had dropped slightly which I expected after a few hours of dancing I had used half a tin of hairspray though' however there were no knots or tots so I was pleased with that. I received tons of compliments about my hair I wasn't complaining! My overall opinion is human hair is great way to look glamorous and stand out in a crowd. I will certainly use them again. I gave them a 9/10! J
