Monuments in Majorca

The museums in Majorca are impressive, but so are the monuments that are spread all over the island. La Almudaina Royal Palace, is the former residence of King Jaime II. It is an excellent example of Moorish architecture, as the construction of the monument ended in 1281. The Palma Market is a civil building that will take your breath away through its aspect. The building has a rectangular base, but the special thing about it is the fact that its interior is formed out of a roof which has an ogive dome sustained by columns.
