TV for PC Software: A Real, Honest to God Review

I'm writing this article to clear up some myths about TV for PC software, from an unbiased point of view. The products I am talking about go by the names of Satellite Direct, and Satellite TV for PC, just to name a couple. There are tons of different softwares out there, but they are all very similar. They promise thousands upon thousands of channels for a one time fee, usually about 50 bucks.

Every other so-called "review" I've ever read about this type of software makes it sounds like the greatest invention since the wheel. Let me explain why. These so-called "reviews" are not reviews at all. They are merely sales pages by affiliates of company selling the product. Each of these different TV for PC softwares has hundreds of affiliates trying to make a sales commission. I am here to tell you what the real deal is.

Is it that bad?

No. It's just as good as the advertisers want you to believe. Out of these thousands of channels, you get a few good ones, which to me is worth a one time fee of 50 bucks. I found a channel devoted to episodes of "Family Guy", which I really like. There are some good sports channels, and you'll occasionally find a good movie to watch.

So what's wrong with it?

There are several things wrong with TV for PC software.

1. Load times are slow, and popular channels tend to suffer from bandwidth overload, which means that the channel with not load at all (especially during peak hours).

2. Unless you speak 50 different languages, many of the channels will be in a language you don't speak.

3. There are a high number of religious channels. This is great if you're really into religion, but since many of us are not, this is not exactly a great selling point.

That's about it. If you want to check out the software, I would recommend Satellite Direct, because of the unconditional 60 day refund policy. There are no hoops to jump through. Just ask for a refund from Clickbank, and you will receive your money back. Just remember, the quality of this software is not as good as the sales page says it is, but it's not that bad either. You might like it as long as you don't set your hopes too high.
