Breakups suck. Plain and simple, no one wants to have to go through a breakup with their girlfriend. When it DOES happen, there are going to be natural feelings that come up. Your first reaction might be to try and take your girlfriend back. Most men that want to get back their girlfriend are dealing with the loss of their familiar relationship. You might assume that you just have to deal with the pain, but there are some things that you can do to ease everything.
So, will YOU be able to get her back?
You have to be able to reflect on your situation for a moment. You don't want to make a rash decision and end up doing more harm than good. One of the first things that you want to look at is whether or not you are really ready to get back with your girlfriend. Your first reaction might be to try and take your girlfriend back, but this is not how you really want to go about things.
What DO You want to do to get her back?
You want to be able to make her feel the way she felt when you and her met for the first time. You want to be able to get romantic with your ex-girlfriend and approach her from the idea that she is NOT your current girlfriend, but more of a girl that you would like to date.
This little shift in how you think about things can make ALL of the difference.
She has to see in you the same things that made her fall in love with you in the first place and you have to STOP doing the things that made the two of you drift apart. Don't think of it as trying to take your girlfriend back, think of it as more of romancing your way back into her heart.
This will allow her to see the changes in you and it will also make her start to think about you again. You want her to be thinking of you. You want her to want you back as much as you are wanting her.
This might take some time, but it will be more than worth it in the end. You will be able to have the piece of mind that goes with knowing that you got her back the right way, and not by trying to take your girlfriend back with any other approach.
