Well, the best way to solve that problem is to get on to the roots of it by understanding the nature of that nervousness that you feel.

Actually, that kind of nervousness in neither a bad thing nor a sign of weakness; it is perfectly natural to feel uncomfortable when you are talking to strangers. You are just misinterpreting that feeling of nervousness to be related to talking to women. To prove this, try talking to a male stranger and you will see that the discomfort that you are feeling at that very moment is very much similar to the nervousness that you feel when you are talking to a girl that you like.

If you want to be able to talk to women with confidence, then you should first try practicing talking to strangers regardless of their sex. You should take note that when you are trying to start a conversation, try to find something that you find interesting on those people that you want to talk to and make a remark or inquiry (an inquiry is much safer) about that. If the person that you're talking to gives a reply, then let everything else flow naturally. If they give an unfavorable reply to you, then just let them be, although you do not necessarily have to leave.

After you feel comfortable talking to strangers, you may also try talk to women who you think, on a scale of 1 to 10, scores somewhere between 4 to 7. You do not necessarily have to feel an attraction towards them, in fact, it would be better if you do not feel any attraction towards them. That is one way to practice to talk to women with confidence.

With a little more practice, you can talk to women with confidence in no time and talking to strangers will just feel perfectly natural and you wouldn't even care whether that chick that you are talking to is hot or not.
