Possibly the most famous park in Tanzania, this reserve along with the Masai Mara
of Kenya plays host to the annual African great wildebeest migration'. This natural wonder event sees over one million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle make a thrilling journey in search of fresh pastures. There are many unbelievable events to witness from this journey, including the mass birthing of thousands of wildebeest calf, the crossing of rivers such where hungry crocodiles seek out weaklings within the group to pick off as prey and lions also take a part in hunting down any individuals who disperse from the herds.
