When in Spain during the heat of the hot summer day's you may find that have a lunch made up of Tapas is much more preferable. There are hundreds of small bars and restaurants that specialise in this type of food which is not only served in small portions and also relatively inexpensive to buy.

For those who have never sampled any kind of Spanish food before this is a great way of doing so. Certainly as you travel around this country you will find that the types of Tapas being served can vary quite dramatically but generally you will be expected to pay no more than a couple of Euros for each portion of food you purchase. However, in some bars you will find that these portions are providing free of charge with the drinks you buy.

Certainly on Spain's Costa del Sol they tend to create Tapas from mainly seafood as well as the locally produced ham. Another favourite type of this food that many bars and restaurants will serve as well is a form of black pudding. This you will find is actually much richer and spicier than the type you would find back in the UK.

Today however when it comes to Tapas a new approach has been taken. In the resort of Puerto Banus close to Marbella is a totally new restaurant offering this traditional Spanish fare. The restaurant known as La Moranga is situated in front of The Hard Rock Caf and offers a wide range of tapas but the food is laid out in a similar way to that you would expect when visiting a Sushi Bar. Again like any traditional Tapas bar or restaurant it offers a wide variety of foods for you to try. But be warned it is best to visit this restaurant early in the evening as the Spanish like to use it late.
