Firstly you will need to buy an autoclave for your tattoo studio. You can get it from medical stores. Autoclaves are also available online.

The directions on how to set up an autoclave is mentioned in its manual. Follow all the instructions to set it up first.

The tattoo needles and tubes you need to sterilise should first be washed normally with water. Wear your rubber gloves and an apron. Scrub the equipment carefully with soap and water and leave in it hot water for about five to ten minutes.

Place all the pre washed needles and tubes in an autoclave basket and place it in the autoclave. Keep the water level between high and low and finally turn the autoclave on.

Generally an autoclave takes about one to two hours to sterilise the tattoo needles and tubes. But read all the instructions given in the instruction manual of the autoclave to know all about its functioning. Never keep the tattoo needles and the tubes in the autoclave for more than the mentioned time period.

Make sure that your customer or client knows that the needles being used to make the tattoo are sterilised and not disposable. Only with his assurance go ahead with the needles.
