Some other things it is commonly used for are impetigo, ring worms, sinus infections, sore throats, healing wounds, insect bites, and melanoma.

Tea tree oil does come with warnings. Pregnant women are warned to not use tea tree oil because it can be dangerous to the fetus if ingested. Tea tree oil is also not recommended for cats because they groom themselves so often.
