Technical Analysis Course - Some Strengths Of Charting

A technical analysis course will help you learn that if you make it through commodity

trading for one, two, or even four years every price pattern will be seen (read that again ). Everything else is the endless repeat of different patterns. When it comes to trading in commodities one interesting thing is that as you watch markets move up , and other markets are bottomed out , (the end of bear markets) you can remind yourself " okay, they'll be going up next." Sure enough , the cycle is begun once again, some working from the top down and some working from the bottom up. All markets will one day cease to move down in price and they'll move sideways for some time then the prices will rise. Bear markets always end in commodities, and bull markets always end too .

What I have just gone through represents a philosophical long term approach to the analysis of market prices . In other words , if in the last year or two there's been a downturn in market prices, there's an end in sight to the bear market, and at some point all commodities will go back up . You can understand this even without a chart to look out. But when you analyze charts with a technical analysis course, one becomes aware of the termination of the bear trend and a trader can figure out their position.

It is impossible to trade on the assumption that by being aware of general movements of prices by reading this in the news or just thinking about those movements, that it will help you in the long term to assume prices and the way they move. Usually you cannot restrict limits on losses with this approach after the market is entered, due to an adverse price movement or once profits have accumulated . For those that don't use charting in up markets, for example, are surprised by a bear crack or trend. Chart analysis is absolutely essential for the protection against losses and protection of profits ! Learn from a technical analysis course first before you put your money on the line .
