It seems in this online 'work from home' community that there are an abundance of home-phone jobs

Better yet you can go to YouTube and find free video tutorials that will aid you in getting your skills back up to par. Personally, I am a freelance web designer and I view tutorials all the time on YouTube to help polish my design skills, this same rule applies to telecommute jobs; watch videos and start improving your skills.

Writing - This is by far the most lucrative way to make money working from home. I recommend this for any person seeking a telecommute job. Do not worry you do not have to be a English major in order to make money writing. A lot of telecommute jobs will pay you to rewrite articles. You can simply get paid a lot of money to put articles in your own words for clients. There is a huge market for fresh content on the Internet today.

Blogging - Maybe this should go with writing. Anyways, people are willing to pay a pretty penny for professional bloggers that can write creative content for their blog. Also, people that specialize in SEO are looking for good creative bloggers to write on their competitors blogs in order to get backlinks from them, thus increasing their pagerank.

Texting- Another area that telecommuters with no experience commonly take advantage of is texting. They can get a job with a business to answer customers questions, via live chat or by responding to email inquiries. Companies are seeking individuals that have time to answer their questions for them.

Legal Transcription - This really does not require any experience. You do have to have a good ear and be very tentative though. People looking for telecommute jobs can make a lot of money if they can do with speed and accuracy. Do make sure you keep your transition portfolio up to date, you can impress future employers and get higher wages for it.

Virtual Assistant - People that own online businesses are very busy people. Virtual Assistants are in high demand. They can do all kind of tedious task that business owners do not want to do. This can be anything from submitting articles, proofreading, link checking, etc. The possibilities are endless for 'Virtual Assistants.'
