Telephone was invented in the year 1876 in the month of March. This is the mostly used device in the entire world by the human beings. Alexander Graham Bell a Scientist, a teacher, and a great inventor as well was the person who used to teach the deaf students. The invention of this device is really an interesting incident in which he accidentally threw acid on himself then called his assistant Mr. Watson and he didn't realize that that he is delivering that message over the telephone. Graham Bell patented this device on January 30 1877.
Though this invention has almost completed 133 years and the technology since has also changed a lot but still its the most popular and renowned technology to stay in touch with your family friends and the relatives. There are number of telephones launched in the market they are the cordless phones, basic telephones and many more. These phones are though with some kind of limitations like they are applicable for a particular range but then also these phones are still o the top.
Basic telephones are also known as home phones, fixed phones, as these phones are with an attached wire and are immovable. These telephones are with so many things like they are with comes with a LCD screen in which you can see the person's number who is making call to you or you can say these are the caller ID phones. You can also send as well as receive messages with the help of these basic phones. The problem is we are not aware of the facilities the fixed line phone is providing.
With the introduction of new technology there are mobile phones in the market. Which though are with so many features but they still can't beat the basic phones.
