The first common mistake I want to mention is that people give away all their information on a free call. Possibly they think that their call has to be longer than it really needs to be and to fill let's say an hour call they have to mention most if not all of the information about a topic within their niche.

My recommendation is to reduce the overall time of your teleseminar, or cut the lecture part short and add a Q&A or spend some time on common objections somebody might have to using your products & services.


Mistake #2 - Making offers on the call is being too pushy

Another common mistake people make is they don't give an offer on their call for their audience to buy their products or services. Unless your audience has paid to be on a call you should promote an offer.

You still give mostly great content but you work a brief but valuable offer into the call. If you don't make an offer people will listen to your free content and most likely never buy your products & services.

If your new to internet marketing your probably thinking what kind of offer. It can range anywhere from a free 30 minute consultation to a highly discounted price on 1 of your high end products including smaller priced bonuses as incentive.

Mistake #3 - One of the biggest mistakes you can make

The last mistake I'm going to mention in this article is in my opinion one of the biggest mistakes you can possibly make which is not to re-purpose the content of your teleseminars.

Re-purposing is taking the recording of your teleseminar and using it as an asset for your business.

You can sell an mp3 recording of your teleseminar by itself or bundled with other products or services. You can use the mp3 recording as a bonus or ethical bribe as it's called to entice people to sign up for your products or services. You can even transcribe the mp3 recording to written form which among other things could become content for a book.
