A study reveals that one of the most popular videogames in history produces beneficial effects on the brain.

Who said that all videogames are bad ? According to a study by the Mind Research Network, a no-profit organization, the popular game of joints, known in the world as "Tetris", would be good for the brain of young people, it make the brain more efficient and produce a thicker cortex.

STUDY - To reach a this conclusion, some experts in mental diseases have observed for three months the behavior of a teenage girls that love the Tetris game.

The group was formed by girls that have twenty-fifth years old. The results were quite surprising. Adolescent girls, in fact, have developed a thicker cortex than normal. Although the link between the two effects is still quite unclear to scientists, the study provides a creative theory that said that the mental exercise as the main factor for the maturation of a brilliant mind.

THE GAME - The first version of Tetris, designed in the Cold War, has appeared in the Soviet Union June 6, 1984.

The goal of this pastime is stacking through appropriate rotations, geometric shaped blocks mostly square and rectangular that came down in a vertical space with a speed that progressively increase. You have to form these joints with horizontal lines that disappear when completed.
