RACERS LINING up at the Texas Motor Speedway at Fort Worth

, Texas, are sincerely hoping that the O Reilly 300 scheduled for Saturday and beginning at 3:47 ET does not rain out like both the cup practices for Sunday's Samsung Mobile 500 Sprint cup series, that were scheduled earlier in the day. The race was originally set to start at 3:00 PM ET.

Jet Dryers have been working hard on the Texas Motor Speedway, to get the tracks dry for the practices but to no avail. The race, if it doesn't get washed out, will see Joey Logano from GameStop, revving his Toyota numbered 20 from the pole.

Logano will be followed in this race by Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Rickt Stenhouse Jr. The next five of the first ten drivers into the first lap are Jason Leffler, Jamie McMurray, Steve wallace, Paul Menard and Brian Scott. On the other hand, Jason Keller, Derrike Cope, Josh Wise and Morgan Shepherd did not qualify for the race.

While many had hoped that the O Reilly Auto parts 300 would start relatively on schedule, the tracks at the Texas Motor Speedway were experiencing drizzle even at 1:00 PM.

Many fans are questioning why couldn't the O Reilly Auto parts 300 be pre-poned, if forecasts had already told NASCAR authorities to expect rains. If the rains continue and NASCAR officials believe that half the race could be completed today, it will be called off.
