Before, cell phones have a single purpose and that is to communicate with other people

through calls but now new designs emerged and some of them have new features to share with the world. Today's cell phones are all about features and size. Some new models are equipped with camera settings that can be zoomed and focused. Others have different applications ranging from games to various applications. Nowadays, new models have a personalize feature wherein the owner can personalize his cell phone so that it would fit his personality. Through the use of the personalize feature, the cell phones look, namely its wallpapers, text message sounds, ring tones and applications can now be changed in order to match the mood and attitude of the owner.

Some cell phones today also have a case feature wherein the case or the cover or frame that is used on a cell phone can be changed. Changing the case of the cell phone would produce a different look on the texting buttons as well as the overall design of a phone. Usually, the designs for frames are based on action heroes and cartoon characters. However, some cell phones do not have the case change feature. The case change feature depends on the model and design of the phone so not all phones can be case changed, even though that most phones can not be case changed, the majority of cell phone units allow users to change different tones and wallpapers. Some cell phones have the wallpaper feature wherein the owner can change the color, look, picture and even icons of the phone. The owner can personalize the phone according to his favorites and likes. There is also the text message sounds feature wherein the owner can change the sound of incoming texts.

The best thing about cell phones today is the application feature. Applications may vary according from one unit to the next. The touch screen units allow the picture changing application wherein a person can change a picture on a phone with the use of his fingertips. Cell phones with camera can use the shooting game application wherein the cell phone would show flies or UFO ships flying on the camera and the owner would be the one to shoot them down. Some cell phone applications are even designed for women. Some cell phone applications for women are menstrual counters and calendars.

Whatever the feature or application would be one a phone, it all depends on the owner. The applications and wall papers can either be made on the phone, downloaded through a website, through blue tooth sending from another phone or computer sharing. Some service providers have website features wherein owners can download files, videos and sound tracks. However, most tracks for cell phone are obtained through copyright infringement so owners should be aware on what they would be downloading or using on the phone. There are also viruses and other malicious files that can be sent from one phone to another so sharing a file might be dangerous sometimes.
