The next engine model in our lineup is the 5.4L V8
. This engine is geared towards towing and hauling. It puts out around 310 horsepower, which is enough to pass virtually anyone on the highway. This thing also puts out a massive 365 ft lb of torque, which means you will be able to tow any trailer imaginable. Drivers of the F-150 with this engine can expect gas mileage numbers around 11 miles per gallon for stop-and-go traffic inside of the city, and 16 miles per gallon for straightforward highway driving. This engine represents the highest form of F-150 performance. It is also a carryover from the previous year. However, Ford has decided to do away with the flare-side and step-side models. Now people who want an F-150 will have to get used to the style-side model.
