The 400-click Solution (traffic = Money)
I believe that financial independence starts at 400 clicks per day.
Why? Because if you earn $0.10 to $0.25 per click this means you're making $40 to $100 a day as an laptop entrepreneur, in affiliate commissions for example, or in your own product sales.
That's $1,200 to $3,000 a month - the start of financial independence, where you don't need a job to cover your main expenses (rent, food, bills) and you can start looking at growing your income streams and wealth without being stuck in a dead-end job.
Matt Bacak says that if you are emailing your list (people that know you already) with an affiliate offer for example (your email contains blue clickable links to an affiliate offer) you can expect to make $0.70 per click.
This means that if you're getting 400 clicks per day from emailing your list, that's approximately $280 you're earning in commissions, per email (note: typically you would need to have 12,000 or more subscribers on your list, to consistently expect 400 clicks per day).
And if you are driving this traffic to your optin page (400 clicks per day), it means you can build a list of 2,000 subscribers in just over a month!
So I asked a few of my successful clients and speakers what they would do if they were starting from zero and HAD to get 400 clicks per day:
Here are some of their answers:
Ryan: "200 clicks per day is around 1000-1,500 clicks per week, so I'd just buy solo ads for that number of clicks."
Georgina Lany: "I would do the old school way and build a list with customers and do ad swaps from very early on. So, multiple FB accounts, fanpages, if no money at all then do myself, be-friend people, etc.
Nowadays, I can easily do 300-400 clicks a day if needed (just from mail blasts) and it took about a year to get here, thinking back, I was not even pushing it much, so with dedication, and a bit more work, in 3-4 months it is possible to deliver this amount of clicks easily.
Of course, if we take budget into account, than any kind of ways is possible. just buying solo ads 100 clicks costs $25, from 100 clicks I can sell at least 4-5 products, so for $25 I make at least $100, what is at least $75 profit. (these are worst case scenarios, it is usually lot better) and then just re-invest, but more solos, do swaps, etc."

How to generate the 200-400 clicks a day, in order of decreasing importance:
- Solo ads (nice because the give you an immediate result, key if you're starting from 0 to get the ball rolling)
- Article marketing (quality traffic, steady and on autopilot)
- Product launch. Get Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula (or a summary of it if you can't afford ityet) and do a seed launch.
Why? It will force you to learn about product creation but most importantly it will give you a LOT of leads in a very short amount of time.
Even if you mess up your first launch you'll still get a few affiliates promoting you and that's at the very least going to give you 1k clicks.
Then once you started building a list with those 200-400 clicks a day do adswaps, JV and from there on your traffic will grow exponentially."

If I had no budget a press release a day for each keyword for 30 days and then drive some low value links to each of the press releases using someone on fiver if I didn't want to do it myself." personally I use www.i-newswire.com"

Kishan V.: "I would use display advertising! It's a traffic tap but you got to know your numbers, conversions, demographics etc and you need some money!
For example - With 500 per day you can get 1,500 targeted clicks just using the Google Display Network."
Andy S.: "200 - 400 clicks That number of clicks is nothing crap traffic could do that for $2 - $4 but the conversions would be poop! However, if I was starting from dead zero and had no money for traffic. Then I would go and find someone with a list and get them to promote something I had and let them keep 90% of the money Then the next list holder would get to keep 80%, the next 70% and the next 60% etc Then with the revenue I'd made I'd drive paid Traffic and use a mixture of some cheap traffic, some ad placements and various other traffic sources.
In 30 days I'd have 400 clicks a day no worries!"
Gunnar Kessler: "wow great question hmm guess I would start with Adwords and Banner Adds if I do not have money to spend, I would create youtube videos and articles like crazy and post on facebook like crazy.

Dominica Alicia: "The quickest way would be media buy. I've just set up daily budget 50 and targeted users from the UK. I spent 130 over the period of 3 days, got 17 enquires and landed with 1 client (500/month). Not bad ROI
The other ways - FB Ads (I still think that paid advertising brings instant results). But of course, if I didn't have any money to invest, I would go for this "free traffic combo" - Twitter + Pinterest + blogging (with social bookmarking) + blog commenting + forum commenting + article writing with mass submission
In terms of blogging, I would try to get to some high trafficked website with my article, like www.guestblogit.com."
Finally, what would I do if I had to start again today from zero, in order to quickly build up to 400 clicks per day?
I would follow the great advice in the paragraphs above and use these strategies to quickly build a list of 5,000 subscribers!
I would start with blogging daily, use Fiverr gigs and retweets, use Twitter and Facebook, post videos on YouTube, and buy lots of solo ads.
