At the 45th annual Academy of Country Music awards that are scheduled on April 18

, the Nashville star, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are racing against six male artists for winning the top prize. Out of the six, three are former winners of the entertainer of the year. Kenny Chesney won it in 2004 and 2007, Toby Keith bagged the title in the years 2002 and 2003 and George Strait was the winner in 1989. Other two; Brad Paisley and Keith Urban are the champions of multiple male vocalist of the year in 2006-2008 and 2004, 2005 respectively. The sixth and last contender is the Zac Brown Band. An online voting shall determine this years ACM entertainer along with four newcomer awards.
