Generally speaking, most Farmville players make these mistakes, but in terms of being the richest Farmville player, here are 5 of the worst newbie mistakes to make on Farmville, there are definitely a load of other things which you could do, which could ruin your farm, but these are the most common.

1) Avoid buying building early within Farmville, they cost a lot of money and they won't give you anything in return, of course if you have the money to spare, they are a great way to improve your level, buying buildings is definitely a great way to power level on Farmville, but it will drain your money.

2) Don't be silly with seeds, stick to seeds which you know your going to make a good profit on, make sure you grow plants which suite your lifestyle, so you will definitely be able to harvest your crops when they need to be harvested.

3) Don't waste your time plowing/seeding/harvesting by hand, this is 2010, stop doing things the old way and invest in some vechiles to speed up everything, this will take a chunk of your money, but it's definitely worth it in the long run, it'll speed up everything within Farmville.

4) Work out if expanding your farm is worth it, if you won't have the money left over after upgrading your farm to plant fresh crops in your new space, then there isn't too much point in upgrading you farm yet, wait until you can afford it and have the money to make use of the new space.

5) Make your farm look good when your rich, not before, nobody really cares if your farm looks amazing, because they only really care about the items which cost a lot of coins to have, the best way to get a lot of coins, is to harvest a lot of plants, so plow your whole farm to maximize your harvest income.

Of course all of these tips are written to a player who wants to make the most money on Farmville, nothing else, of course if you want to spend hours making your farm look nice, then by all means do it, but if you want the most money, follow my tips.
