As been said hookah is the modern way of smoking. Therefore, for young people to in the trend, they get into this bandwagon of learning how to use hookah and eventually get hooked to it.

When using hookah, there are certain preparations, lighting and etiquettes required. Hookahs are used when smoking in groups in coffee houses or bars. This has become a part of a social lifestyle among users and smokers. As said, hookahs provide a more relaxed and unhurried method of smoking taking the best of its flavor slowly. It makes use of the tobacco shisha which has more flavor and taste as compared to a regular cigar.

Hookah has now been part of more and more social activities among groups of people. Women would gather for tea as they smoke hookahs. For students, it is a part of their group review or discussion. For men, they smoke hookahs as they gamble or play card games and friends who are at a simple gathering for relaxation and fun. In other words, hookah is a part of every person's life not. It has been long known that smoking can be addictive. It is good if you just smoke hookah during social gatherings but if you do this every day, then you have been already addicted to it. And it is a fact that smoking is very difficult to stop from.

With the popularity of hookah, many people saw its profit potentials by selling hookah and shisha to smokers and even offer hookah rentals. There are also some establishments that a lot a specific space for hookah users. They also have sales and rentals of hookahs for more profits. There are now places called hookah bars and lounges wherein you can do all activities associated with hookahs. But as a reminder, everything taken too much is not good. So take hookah and smoking in moderation. All types of smoking whether hookah or cigar can have harmful effects to one's health. It should therefore be a controlled social activity for users and not a part of their lifestyle. Though hookah is said to be less toxic than cigars because of the filter it has. However, there are still no confirmations yet to this claim.
